Quilting for relaxation.

For years,I was involved in many types of crafts. When I decided to try something new,I went at it with a passion. Cross stitch was my longest crave. I designed several kits, pertaining to my home province of Newfoundland Labrador.I did Christmas ornaments, with Nefoundland themes.Sold hundreds of them at craft fairs, and they went all over the world to fellow Newfoundlanders. Then I moved to the other side of Newfoundland(west coast) and got back into quilting. Joined a local guild, and got hooked. I mostly enjoy smaller items. They are easier to handle,(quilting wise) and there always seems to be a need for baby quilts. I haven't sold any (yet) .Just if someone(other than family) wants one,I charge for the fabrics. Most are gifts for family and friends.
I am in the process of designing a couple of wallhangings. One is a wildlife, the other a sea themed.
This is my first attempt at creating a blog, so I will end this session. I have to check out what I can do .Maybe post pictures, and a pattern or two later on.
